A lot of experimentation happens in the knife shop. The very best of that becomes catalog models, but sometimes really good stuff gets left on the bench all the same. That’s the case with each of these tools – Prototypes, variations, or one-offs to test ideas.
Ghost-Black Wharncliffe: One of the few chisel ground knives we’ll ever produce. This is the last piece of the beautiful ghost-black G-10 we have, and more is not being made. Approx. 4 3/4″ with 2″ blade, chisel ground from .250 G10. Non-metallic shock-cord attachment kydex sheath.
Jade Green Peanut Pikal Prototype: One of the original prototypes for the Peanut Pikal, this one stayed in house. Ground from .250″ G-10 with orange wrap. 5 1/8″ overall, with a 2 1/4″ blade.
Sheathed in kydex, saddle-stitched with 200lb Technora thread, with a securely mounted ToughClip for IWB carry with or without belt. Specs and sheathing are identical to standard Peanut Pikal models.
Spike: A squared shank spike with triangular point geometry and textured grip. Approx. 7″ overall. Simplicity in action. Static-cord tube sheath.
Peanut Pikal Variations: One black, with a fullered spine for ease of penetration. One charcoal/black with an ultra-narrow blade. Black epoxy soaked hemp wrap. Specs otherwise identical to other Peanut Pikal models. 5 1/8″ overall, with a 2 1/4″ blade. Sheathed in kydex, saddle-stitched with 200lb Technora thread, with a securely mounted ToughClip for IWB carry with or without belt.
When selecting a sheath variation, please allow up to 2 weeks processing time to complete sheathing.
