Adventure, Risk, and Violence

When it all goes wrong, there is no one coming to save you. In critical moments success or failure depends on you. Are you ready?
For more than ten years we have provided knowledge, training, and equipment to support your success in the face of austerity and hostility. We are No One Coming, and our interests are adventure, risk, and violence. Based in the High Desert of New Mexico, we are active participants in adventure and training, always testing and refining ourselves and what we offer.
Our home is a borderland, beautiful and harsh, wild and urban, a land of interface between types of risk and play. What we have learned here, we offer to you.
Part laboratory, part design firm, part studio, part training company. We produce bespoke tools and small batch gear for survival, rescue, and defense; We create content to share our experiences and knowledge; We teach and consult, going hands on to bring you our best.

NoOneComing.com offers regularly updated articles on adventure, first aid, personal defense, and survival.
Our Forge products include small-batch medical kits, and handmade knives and tools, specializing in concealable and non-metallic defensive knives.
We offer training and consulting on first aid/bystander response medicine, wilderness survival, and equipment for emergencies, exploration, and adventure.

Our Founder

Morgan Atwood has taught and written about survival, field medicine, and protection for over a decade. He founded Morgan Atwood Design – Tactical, a custom knife and tool studio, in 2002. He followed that up with our predecessor BFE Labs in 2008.
An alumni of the New Mexico EMS Academy, Morgan has also been a wildland firefighter, and provided medical and anti-poaching consulting for remote ranching operations. With over 25 years of experience living and working in remote places, a diverse education in medicine, self protection, sciences and engineering, survival, and art and design, Morgan is the author of most of our content, and of our Forge products. Additionally, he is the author of “Civilian Tactical Self-Care Guidelines” (2008) one of the first distillations of Tactical Combat Casualty Care for individual and civilian settings, “How To Stay Alive Down There” (Forthcoming) the first guidebook to abandoned mine exploration, and “Good Medicine for 96 Bad Hours” (2014 and forthcoming) a book on survival medicine.
